On March 23 and 24 th, 2016, the Institut du Cerveau – ICM and the Montreal Neurological Institute (MNI, Canada) organised a workshop bringing together researchers and students on the topic of neurodegenerative diseases.

The latest advances on Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s, Huntington’s, fronto-temporal dementias, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and the prion diseases have been presented by experts in each field.

This workshop was a unique chance to talk about the scientific progress of both Institutes, to promote the emergence of cross-cutting projects and define future innovative projects in order to set up collaborative research programs.

The two previous workshops organised between the Institut du Cerveau – ICM and the MNI related to ALS have been a real success too, allowing the implementation of fruitful collaborations.
