The Ephys platform is specialized in electrophysiology. It provides the Institute’s research teams with high-level services and equipment to record the electrical activity (means of communication between neurons) of cells under different experimental conditions (isolated cells, tissue sections). This type of data is essential for studies in neuroscience, for the functional characterization of all types of cells and the study of the plasticity of the nervous system.
The platform also offers its services to research teams from other institutions and to industrial players whose projects require high-level skills.
