THE USE OF COOKIES

A cookie is a small text file that a site sends to the hard disk of your computer to be able to remember who you are. In principle, a cookie contains the name of the Internet domain from which it comes, its lifespan and a value, generally a random number.

On the Paris Brain Institut site, we use session cookies. These are temporary cookies that are conserved in the memory of your computer and eliminated when you close your browser or do not use Internet for a certain period of time (generally about twenty minutes). These cookies can, for example, control automatic pop-up windows so that they don’t open up each time you consult a given page: once you consult a page containing an automatic pop-up window, a cookie can be placed in your computer so that this window does not open the next time you consult the page. The Paris Brain Institut does not use cookies to observe you or follow you movements on its site.
