Biography

Francesca Branzoli obtained a PhD degree in physics at University of Pavia, Italy (2011). During her postdoc at the Leiden University Medical Center (Netherlands), she worked on the characterization of tissue microstructure and function in both healthy and diseased brain, using novel diffusion-based magnetic resonance spectroscopy methods at 7T. In 2022, Francesca was recruited by INSERM to work in the team “Genetics and development of brain tumors”. Her main research interest is the development of novel MRI approaches for the in vivo diagnosis and follow-up of gliomas, and their translation to the clinic.
