POSITION
We are offering a post-doctoral position in the team “Molecular Pathophysiology of Parkinson’s disease”, at the Paris Brain Institute. The project focuses on the analysis and characterization of ligands of aggregating proteins. It is a full-time employment contract for an initial employment period of 2 years. The postdoctoral researcher will join our dynamic international team but also work with a group of European partners on this project.
PROFILE
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong background in biochemistry and neuroscience, particularly in the study of protein aggregation, protein-protein interactions and protein-RNA interactions. Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications & skills:
– PhD in Biochemistry or Neuroscience
– Research Interest: Demonstrated strong interest in protein aggregation research through publications and references from the candidate’s thesis advisor
– Technical Experience: in vitro aggregation, protein-protein interaction, characterization of amyloid structures, RNA binding proteins biology, structural biology and cellular biology.
– Research Motivation: High level of motivation for both independent and collaborative research,
– Language Skills: Fluency in English, both written and spoken
– Interpersonal Skills: Rigorous and committed, you have a sense of relationship, service to users and teamwork, you are autonomous
