Each region of the brain has defined functions, and the appearance of a brain tumour therefore has repercussions linked to its location and can result in motor or sensory disorders, visual field impairment, language impairment, cognitive or behavioural problems, depending on the area affected.
Other symptoms may also be due to compression of the brain by the tumour, which can lead to intracranial hypertension (ICHT), resulting in headaches that persist for several days and increase in intensity, nausea and vomiting.
