1– to generate and characterize iPS cells through genetic reprogramming of skin cells from patients and healthy volunteers;
2– to correct or introduce mutations of interest using appropriate genetic tools;
3– to create a repository of disease-specific iPS cells. This activity is part of the Institut du Cerveau – ICM’s cell culture facility and is supported by the IHU-A-Institut du Cerveau – ICM.
ACTIVITIES
• Services:
Cellular reprogramming, molecular and functional characterization of iPS cells, maintenance and storage of iPS cells and in future, genetic engineering of iPS cells
• Provision of equipment for autonomous users
• Scientific and technical advice to users
• Optimization and improvement of technical procedures
EQUIPMENT
