ETHICAL AND DEONTOLOGICAL CHARTER : THE 12 COMMITMENTS OF THE PARIS BRAIN INSTITUTE

The Ethical and Deontological Charter of the Paris Brain Institute has been thought to cover the Foundation’s missions, which are to promote honest and responsible research, in the service of the advancement of knowledge, with the aim of improving the quality of life of individuals and communities.

This charter sets out a certain number of ethical and deontological rules that are agreed upon and whose application is essential in the Institute’s fields of activity. It also aims to recall what constitutes professional integrity in general.

The charter of ethics and deontology brings together the 12 commitments made by the people who contribute to the Institute’s activities, whatever their profession.

THE INSTITUTE CERTIFIED AS TRUSTED DONATION

On 3 November 2010, the Paris Brain Institute was awarded the Donation in Confidence label, which was renewed in October 2019. For more than 20 years, this committee has been carrying out the mission of professional regulation of the call to public generosity. Its action is based on three commitments: approved organisations must respect the rules of ethics, they must adhere to a collective discipline with regard to donors, and they must accept continuous monitoring of the commitments made.
